Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Cabdisalaam Cabdi Cali Dhaay, chaired two high-level meetings today with the sub-committees on mobilization and public awareness, as well as finance and support.
The discussions focused on accelerating efforts to eliminate extremist groups, including Al-Shabaab and ISIS, through enhanced coordination between government institutions, civil society, and security partners.
Deputy Prime Minister Dhaay emphasized the importance of strengthening national security systems and fostering a society free from fear and extremism, reaffirming the government’s commitment to restoring lasting peace and stability across the country.
