Mogadishu, Somalia – Sunday, May 25, 2025: The Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Jibril Abdirashid Haji Abdi, participated in the official launch of the Agricultural Services Regulation and Inspection Agency (SARIS), recently established by national legislation.
In his remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the activation of SARIS, noting its vital role in ensuring Somali farmers receive quality agricultural services and certified products. He thanked the Ministry and staff for their efforts in operationalizing the agency, which is tasked with overseeing the quality and compliance of both imported and exported agricultural inputs and outputs.
