Mogadishu, (SONNA) – Officials from the Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) met with a delegation from the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) in Mogadishu.
The Somali officials were led by the State Minister of Aviation, Abdikarim Cadow Heydar and the Director of the SCAA, Ahmed Moallim Hassan and other officials.
The officials discussed ways the two organisation could work together and strengthen cooperation, and the improvement of the Aden Adde International Airport (AAIA), the Minister also pointed out that the aviation authority of Somalia is ready for the audit which will be conducted by the officials from the ICAO.
The discussions also focused on way to strengthen the SCAA’s power in terms of international laws of civil aviation as the delegation from the ICAO went on an inspection to the offices of the organisation and took a look at the technology and the staff at work.
