Galkayo (SONNA): – Puntland security forces in Galkayo seized a variety of weapons and displayed them at the Mudug Regional Police Headquarters in Puntland yesterday afternoon. The court ruled that all the weapons should be confiscated by the Mudug regional administration.
Mudug Regional Court Chairman Abdinasir Mohamed read out the court’s decision at and said that the court ordered anyone found with an illegal weapon would be confiscated.
Mudug Governor Abdilatif Muse has finally issued a warning to anyone with illegal weapons in the region and in all areas of Puntland under Mudug region.
