Bosaso, (SONNA) – Puntland’s Counter-Terrorism Forces reported a significant victory against Daesh militants in the Dharjaalle area of Bari region. According to the statement, the forces successfully thwarted a planned terrorist attack early this morning, eliminating the entire group of attackers, most of whom were foreign fighters.

During the operation, the forces showcased the weapons and equipment seized from the militants, highlighting the substantial blow inflicted on the terrorist group. The eliminated fighters had reportedly been plotting to launch a major offensive but were intercepted before carrying out their plans.

Following the victory, Puntland’s Counter-Terrorism Forces advanced further as part of their ongoing campaign to eradicate Daesh militants from the region. These operations aim to dismantle the group’s presence and restore peace and security to the area.
