Mogadishu(SONNA)-Prime Minister of the federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Hussein Roble together with a delegation is on Monday expected to pay a visit Dhusomareb town, the administrative capital of Galmudug State, SONNA reported.
Prime Minister Roble’s visit to Galmudug State was aimed at accelerating elections of lower house of Somali Parliament.
During his stay there, he is to meet with the leaders, community elders and the election committees from federal and state level of Galmudug as part of planned trip to observe assigned electoral districts in the country.
Galmudug was the last state to complete the election of remaining two seats of the Upper House which are 54 seats.
The United Nations’ Assistance Mission in Somalia welcomed the conclusion of the elections for all Upper House seats of the Federal Parliament, and called for the swift completion of inclusive and credible House of the People elections.
