Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre welcomed Representative Samakab Hussein of the Minnesota House of Representatives to his office in Mogadishu.
The Prime Minister thanked the lawmaker for his visit to his country of origin and praised the Somali diaspora for their vital contributions to development in their host countries—particularly in business, politics, and the utilization of opportunities abroad.
PM Hamza commended Rep. Samakab as an example of successful diaspora engagement and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening ties with Somali communities around the world.
