Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, has extended his heartfelt condolences following the passing of Ugaas Abdullahi Ugaas Farah, a respected Somali traditional leader who played a significant role in peace-building and state reconstruction efforts across the country.
In a message of condolence, Prime Minister Barre expressed sympathy to the late elder’s family, relatives, and the wider Somali traditional community, mourning the loss of a figure renowned for his unwavering commitment to peace and national reconciliation.
“Ugaas Abdullahi Ugaas Farah was a key figure in promoting peace and upholding Somali cultural traditions. He will be remembered for his tireless efforts in conflict resolution and community harmony,” said Prime Minister Hamza.
The Prime Minister prayed for the late Ugaas to be granted Jannatul Firdows and offered his deepest sympathies to his family, community, and the Somali nation during this time of sorrow.
