Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, has launched an accountability and performance review of the government’s DanQaran program, assessing progress made since its implementation in line with national priorities and citizens’ needs.
The Prime Minister noted that the review demonstrates his government’s commitment to good governance, highlighting that over the past three years, significant achievements have been recorded across multiple sectors.
“We want to hold ourselves accountable for the promises we made to the Somali people, the progress achieved, the challenges faced, and the tasks ahead. We have completed three years and entered the fourth, and I am confident that remarkable work has been done in every sector,” said Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that the government has prioritized transparency and responsibility in delivering flagship programs focused on social development, liberation and security, justice and judicial independence, economic self-reliance, building reconciliation, and strengthening Somalia’s role as a trusted partner in the international community.
