Prime Minister Hamza holds a fruitful meeting with traditional leaders in Laascaanood

Laascaanood, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, held a significant meeting this evening with traditional leaders (Isimmo) from the SSC-Khaatumo regions during his historic visit to Laascaanood.

The discussions centered on strengthening national unity, advancing peace and reconciliation efforts, and fostering long-term stability in the country. The Prime Minister listened to constructive proposals from the leaders on rebuilding the nation and ensuring the presence of government institutions in SSC-Khaatumo that can deliver essential public services to the community.

Prime Minister Hamza expressed deep appreciation for the pivotal role played by the traditional leaders in promoting peace and unity, reaffirming his government’s commitment to expanding state institutions and preserving the unity of the Somali people.
