Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, has extended his congratulations to all ranks of the Somali National Army (SNA) and their families on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Army’s founding.
In his message, Prime Minister Hamza highlighted that the current administration, “DanQaran,” has made significant efforts to build, equip, and strengthen the capabilities of the Somali National Army. He noted that these efforts have led to substantial victories against the Al-Shabaab militants, who continue to threaten the country’s peace and development.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of a strong and professional national army in securing Somalia’s borders and ensuring the safety of its citizens from all threats.
He also offered prayers for the fallen heroes of the SNA, asking Allah to grant them paradise, and praised the unwavering sacrifice and dedication of the soldiers who continue to defend the nation day and night.
