Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, today officially launched the implementation of the Civil Service Pay and Grading Policy, a key milestone in the government’s ongoing reform agenda.
This long-awaited policy aims to standardize salaries and ranks across the country’s civil service, promoting transparency, fairness, and efficiency in public administration. The reform is part of the broader efforts by the “DanQaran” government to strengthen payroll systems and ensure justice in public sector compensation.
The launch of the policy marks a critical step toward institutional development, professionalizing the civil service, and laying the groundwork for sustainable governance across Somalia.
