Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, continued his accountability program today by questioning several key ministries, including Federal and Reconciliation Affairs, Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Internal Security, Defense, Justice and Constitutional Affairs, and Environment and Climate Change.
The session reviewed the progress of the government’s annual action plan, focusing on areas such as strengthening federalism, advancing reconciliation efforts, fostering international cooperation, safeguarding national interests, improving internal security, rebuilding the armed forces, liberating territories, and enhancing justice services along with constitutional review.
The Prime Minister underscored that accountability and transparency will remain central to the government’s work, stressing that they are fundamental to the successful implementation of national programs and to building public trust in state institutions.
