Mogadishu, (SONNA) – Senior officials from the Somali Presidency, acting on the orders of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, visited frontline areas to assess the condition of the National Army and local Macawisley forces fighting against the Khawarij militants.
The delegation closely examined the situation of the troops and local fighters defending their communities, receiving briefings from forces stationed at the frontlines. The visit comes as military operations intensify, with militants increasingly fleeing their hideouts under pressure from ongoing offensives.
