Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud received AU Commission Chairperson H.E Mahmoud Ali Youssouf in Mogadishu to strengthen Somalia-AU ties. He praised AU’s vital role in peace-building, security, and state-building.
The leaders also discussed counterterrorism, regional stability, and Somalia’s commitment to AU reforms. The President reaffirmed Somalia’s determination to eradicate terrorism.
