Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, today inaugurated the Second East African Community Conference (EACON 2025) in Mogadishu, marking Somalia’s continued commitment to economic, political, and social integration in the region.
“Somalia has come a long way to be one of the members of the EAC. After more than ten years, Somalia now celebrates its role in developing its economy and engaging with other member states,” President Mohamud said. “The 2060 Vision of Somalia is a signpost for the Somali people.”
