Asmara, SONNA – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, arrived in Asmara this afternoon for a working visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and discussing regional and international matters of shared interest.
Upon his arrival at Asmara International Airport, President Mohamud and his delegation were warmly received by Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki. The two leaders are expected to engage in high-level discussions to further enhance cooperation between Somalia and Eritrea, focusing on areas of mutual importance to both nations.
This visit underscores the growing partnership between the two countries as they seek to bolster ties and collaborate on pressing issues within the region and beyond.
