Doha, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met on Tuesday morning, to attend the graduation ceremony of the 11th batch of cadets of Al Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air Academy.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and issues of common concern.
Saed Ali Abdullahi of Somalia was the first among the 12 exceptional graduates at Al Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air Academy in Qatar who were honoured.
The meeting was attended by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, HE Head of the State Security Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and a number of Their Excellency senior officials.
On the Somali side, the meeting was attended by HE Minister of Defense of the Federal Republic of Somalia Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, and a number of Their Excellencies senior officials.
