Tripoli, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met his Libyan counterpart, H.E Mohamed Al-Menfi in Tripoli today. Discussions focused on strengthening Somalia-Libya ties, economic cooperation, and energy sector collaboration.
A key priority was the Somali government’s efforts to secure the release of Somali nationals held in Libyan prisons, reaffirming its commitment to protecting the rights and dignity of its citizens. The leaders emphasized their shared vision for regional stability and mutual progress.
