Dhusamareb, SONNA – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, accompanied by the President of Galmudug State, His Excellency Ahmed Abdi Kariye, today inaugurated a series of landmark facilities in Dhusamareb as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen state-building and improve public services.
The President officially opened the newly constructed, state-of-the-art Galmudug House of Representatives, where he delivered a congratulatory speech during the 12th Session of the regional parliament.
“Today, Galmudug is at a good point where it can serve as an example to other states in the country. I am happy to be present at the planning and implementation of these projects, which will make a big difference in the development and strengthening of the administration of Galmudug State,” President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said.
In addition, the Head of State inaugurated the Dhusamareb Municipal Government Center, a modern facility designed to provide essential services to the community. He praised both the government and people of Galmudug for their dedication to turning planned projects into reality.
The President also inaugurated the Road Construction Quality Laboratory, a facility that will oversee the testing of roads and building materials to ensure compliance with recognized standards and promote sustainable infrastructure development.
The inauguration of these facilities underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to advancing regional development, strengthening governance structures, and enhancing service delivery across Somalia.
