Bujumbura, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Bujumbura, the Republic of Burundi, where he was warmly welcomed by President Évariste Ndayishimiye at Ntare Rushatsi State House.
Later, the two leaders held bilateral discussions on issues of mutual interest, including strengthening strategic security cooperation and enhancing regional stability, reaffirming their commitment to fostering peace, security, and prosperity across the region. President Hassan Sheikh expressed his gratitude to Burundi for its sacrifices and contributions to ATMIS.
