Baghdad, Iraq – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has arrived in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, to participate in the 34th session of the Arab League Summit.
The high-level summit is expected to address critical issues concerning the Arab region, with a primary focus on finding sustainable solutions to the ongoing security and political crises affecting numerous member states.
During the summit, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is slated to present Somalia’s efforts and the progress made in its struggle against the Khawarij extremist groups, highlighting the challenges and successes in this crucial fight.
The participation of President Mohamud shows Somalia’s active engagement within the Arab League and its commitment to contributing to discussions and strategies aimed at fostering stability and cooperation across the Arab world.
