Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud received a delegation from the Republic of Türkiye, led by Deputy Foreign Minister Prof. Burhanettin Duran at the Presidential Palace in Mogadishu.
The discussions reaffirmed the strong and enduring ties between Somalia and Türkiye, with a focus on enhancing strategic cooperation across key areas. President Hassan Sheikh expressed deep appreciation for Türkiye’s continued support and commitment to Somalia’s progress and stability, underscoring the historic and brotherly bond between the two nations.
