Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud laid flowers at the Daljirka Dahsoon monument to mark the 64th anniversary of Somalia’s independence and unification.
The President saluted units of the national armed forces who took part in a military parade to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the country’s independence on July 1.
The ceremony was attended by Federal Government Ministers, MPs, other senior officials and the general public of Mogadishu to commemorate this anniversary in a spectacular display of showing the flag of Somalia and the army performing parades.
