Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud spoke on the phone with H.H. Tamim Bin Hamad, Amir of Qatar this evening to convey deep condolences following the heinous Israeli aggression in Doha.
The President reaffirmed Somalia’s unwavering solidarity with the state of Qatar in safeguarding its sovereignty and security, and underscored that such violations contravene the principles of the UN Charter, threaten regional stability, and undermine efforts for peace.
Somalia joins the international community in urging restraint, adherence to international law, and a permanent ceasefire that ensures justice, stability, and lasting peace in the Middle East.
