Mogadishu(SONNA)-President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Abdulahi Farmajo has on Tuesday arrived in Kampala, Uganda to attend the inauguration of Yuweri Musafane tomorrow on Wednesday, SONNA reported.
Somalia and Uganda share strong bonds of friendship and interdependence stemming from mutual respect and positive collaboration.
Foreign leaders started arriving in Uganda Tuesday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of President Yoweri Museveni scheduled for Wednesday, during which he will take a formal oath for a sixth term in office. The function will take place at Kololo Independence Grounds. Presidents Evariste Ndayishimiye (Burundi) and Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed (Somalia) were among those who arrived ahead of the event. South Africa’s foreign minister Naledi Pandor also jetted in.
