Mogadishu, SONNA – The President of Somalia’s Hirshabelle State, Ali Abdullahi Hussein (Ali Guudlawe), has urged the citizens of Hirshabelle to actively participate in the second phase of efforts to eradicate the al-Shabaab terrorist group.
Speaking at an annual prayer gathering in the Eelowe area of Middle Shabelle, President Guudlawe highlighted ongoing development projects in the Warsheikh district, which include the establishment of health centers, educational facilities, and water wells.
During the event, President Guudlawe toured several areas in Warsheikh, emphasizing that the liberation of Hirshabelle and the second phase of the anti-terrorism campaign are progressing rapidly. He noted that these efforts are complemented by the decentralization of the government system and the formation of local councils.
President Guudlawe called on the residents of these regions to actively participate in the second phase of liberation and contribute to the development of local governance and security councils.
