Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Mohamed Hussein Roble held a meeting with members of religious scholars, Somali business community and civil society. They discussed hastening the emergency assistance to the people affected by the severe droughts in the country & their role in mobilising the public.
The PM said, “the electoral process in the country is important for the future of the country, but it should not distract us from rescuing our people who are suffering from drought, thirst and hunger, so it is important that the Muslim scholars, civil society and business people play a leading role in the rescue operation”.
