Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, received the Qatari Ambassador to Somalia, Dr. Abdullah Bin Salem Al Nuaimi, for a high-level meeting at his office to discuss enhancing the longstanding ties and cooperation between the brotherly nations of Somalia and Qatar.
The two officials exchanged views on deepening Qatar’s support for Somalia, particularly in the areas of security, development, and the implementation of the National Transformation Plan (NTP). Prime Minister Hamza expressed gratitude to the State of Qatar for its continued assistance, especially in infrastructure projects and the improvement of essential public services such as education and healthcare.
Ambassador Al Nuaimi reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to sustaining its multifaceted support for the Somali government and people, emphasizing that Qatar will remain a steadfast partner in Somalia’s journey toward stability and progress.
