Laascaanood, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, arrived in the city of Laascaanood, the administrative capital of the SSC-Khaatumo region, on a historic visit aimed at strengthening national unity and enhancing government presence in the region.
Upon landing at Laascaanood Airport, Prime Minister Hamza and his delegation received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from federal government officials, the leadership of SSC-Khaatumo, military officers, and hundreds of local residents who gathered to show their support.
The unity-focused visit is part of the “DanQaran” administration’s ongoing efforts to reinforce cohesion across Somalia and expand essential public services to underserved communities, particularly in SSC-Khaatumo.
Addressing thousands of residents at the airport, Prime Minister Hamza expressed deep gratitude for the warm hospitality and honor extended to him and his delegation. He described the welcome as a powerful symbol of Somali unity and resilience, emphasizing that the people of Laascaanood embody the spirit of patriotism and commitment to defending Somalia’s sovereignty.
