Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, held a meeting with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohamed Barre Mohamud and the Electoral Committee of the Somali Football Federation (SFF).
The PM spoke with the sports officials about several important issues regarding the election of the Football Federation Chairman which is expected to be held soon and how to create opportunities for the youth in the areas liberated from the Khawarij.
The Prime Minister said that the Commission is supposed to hold a fair election, in accordance with the laws of the relationship. He warned that parallelism is not acceptable, urging the Committee to be careful not to side with a particular side.
The PM said that there is great hope for the under 17-year-old youths who have achieved success, and there is no need to be discouraged.
Mr. Barre said that the Ministry and the Federation are required to organise games and social interaction with the youth in the areas that have been liberated from the terrorists, and build playgrounds for the youth.
