Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, has congratulated Adan Abdullaahi Aw-Xassan on his election as Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Northeastern State of Somalia in a vote held today in Laascaanood.
The Prime Minister prayed for the Speaker’s success in carrying out his new responsibilities, including completing the remaining stages of the state leadership elections.
He praised members of the regional parliament for fulfilling their duties and reaffirmed that the DanQaran government will continue supporting and strengthening the state administration to ensure completion of its institutions.
The Prime Minister also noted that the Federal Government has invested significant effort in building and operationalizing the Northeastern State administration, describing it as an important step toward strengthening unity and solidarity among the Somali people.
