Kismayo, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre together with the Ambassadors of Turkey, and China, and the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General to Somalia visited the people displaced by floods in the country living in the outskirts of Kismayo.
The Prime Minister said that the people who were affected by the torrential rains are more than the ones they visited today, and more others live in dire situations in other parts of the country.
Prime Minister Hamza praised the administration of the Jubbaland State for giving a hand to the displaced people and caring for them in their time of need and urged the international community to send aid to the people affected by the flash floods.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister had a meeting with the Ambassadors of Turkey, China and the special envoy of the UN, and International Donors who attended digitally.
