Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Internal Affairs and Security Committee of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia held an official meeting with the Minister of Internal Security, H.E Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail (Fartaag), and the Director of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency, Mustaf Sheikh Ali Dhuxulow. The meeting took place at the Committee and Leadership Offices in Villa Hargeisa and was chaired by Deputy Chairperson and Acting Committee Chair, MP Nuur Ahmed Diriye (Nuur Afey).
During the session, Director Dhuxulow briefed committee members on the operations and services provided by the Immigration and Citizenship Agency. Committee members engaged in a constructive dialogue, raising questions about the agency’s role in delivering national services.
In his closing remarks, Deputy Chairperson Nuur Afey expressed gratitude to the Minister and the Director for accepting the committee’s invitation. He emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and committed to maintaining regular oversight meetings to ensure accountability and transparency in service delivery.
