Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), with support from international partners, has destroyed a makeshift bridge used by Al-Shabaab militants in the Aw-Baalle area of the Middle Shabelle region.
The operation, which also targeted Al-Shabaab vehicles, resulted in the deaths of several militant leaders and fighters who were attempting to cross the bridge to reinforce their fleeing comrades.
Security officials described the mission as a strategic success in cutting off Al-Shabaab’s movements and further weakening the group’s operational capabilities in the region.
