Mogadishu, SONNA – The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) has conducted a successful aerial operation in Jambaluul, Lower Shabelle, eliminating two senior Kharijite leaders.
The airstrike targeted Farhan Osman Hassan (Jafar Karuur), head of the group’s explosive operations in Banadir and Lower Shabelle, and Ahmed Gumaar, the head of finance in Lower Shabelle. According to NISA, all militant guards protecting the two leaders were also killed in the operation.
This targeted strike, executed after thorough intelligence verification, marks a significant blow to the Kharijite group’s operational and financial networks. NISA and the Somali National Army continue to intensify their offensive against the group, aiming to dismantle its remaining strongholds.
