Mogadishu (SONNA) — The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral and Boundaries Commission, Mr. Abdikarim Ahmed Hassan, along with a delegation he is leading, has arrived in Baidoa, the capital of Bay region.
The delegation was received at Baidoa airport by the Commission’s Secretary General, Mr. Hussein Nunow Ali, who was already in the city, alongside other officials.
The Chairman’s visit aims to conduct an overall assessment of ongoing electoral activities in South West State, accelerate the implementation of election plans, and review the country’s broader electoral preparedness process.
