Mogadishu(SONNA)-National Consultative talks between the Federal Government of Somalia and Federal member states on Wednesday ended successfully, SONNA reported.
FGS, BRA and FMS leaders signed agreement bases on 17 September 2020 and recommendations made in Baidoa on Feb. 16, 2021 and that the election will happen with 60 days from today.
The leaders reached an agreement on issues of Gedo, electoral commissions and Somaliland and electoral security.
Former Presidents, Sharif Sh. Ahmed and Hassan Sh. Mohamud, Union of candidates, civil society groups and International partners attended the event and welcomed the deal made on country’s situation on parliamentary and presidential election.
