Mogadishu(SONNA)-National Intelligence and Security Agency on Saturday evening confirmed the killing of senior terrorist militant commander of Al-Shabaab in Juhay area in Middle Shabelle region.
The Agency said in a statement that this commander was killed with 87 terrorist members during a joint operation with international partners on December 15, 2022.
The commander was identified as Yusuf Jingab who was in charge of misleading the youth, the statement added.
The Government is committed to bringing into account to those who are involved in carrying out atrocities against the civilians.
