Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Federal Government of Somalia, in partnership with international development partners, has provided free electricity access to 335 facilities across the country, including health centers and educational institutions.
The Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdullahi Bidhaan Warsame, visited several of the education facilities benefiting from the project. Among the sites he inspected were the Somali National University, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education, and multiple schools across the capital.
The initiative aims to support Somali communities by ensuring reliable and efficient power supply to vital public services, particularly in the health and education sectors.
