Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Ministry of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia condemned the military airstrikes in Juba and Gedo regions which destroyed Hormuud Telecom’s property.
A statement from the Ministry of Defence said:-
”Firstly, the Somali government is disappointed for any harm done to its citizens and we offer our condolences to this company for the loss of its business which has been repeated.
We will be in direct contact with AMISOM Forces and other partners assisting the Somali Government in the security operation to share our concerns and find out what’s happening.
The Somali government is conducting a formal investigation into these recurring incidents of violence against the Somali people.”
