The newly appointed committee members include:
- Mohamed Muse Aden: Director of the Department of Production and Cooperative Development.
- Khadar Yasin Mohamed: A member from the Department of Agribusiness and Investment.
- Abdihamid Jama Hassan: An official from the Minister’s Office.

The ministry’s objective is to use this data to formulate a strategic national plan to halt unnecessary importation. This initiative is designed to directly encourage and promote domestic production, providing critical support to Somali farmers.
