Mogadishu, Somalia – Sheikh Mukhtar Robow Ali, the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, conducted an inspection of the ministry’s new building today. The construction, which commenced with a foundation stone laid by the Deputy Prime Minister in November 2023, is a significant development for the ministry.
Accompanied by the Minister of State and the Director General, Minister Robow’s visit underscores the collaborative efforts between the ministry’s leadership, the President of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), and the Prime Minister. The project, estimated to cost over 1 million dollars, reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing the ministry’s infrastructure.
Mohamed Haji Ibrahim, the Director General, expressed optimism about the construction phases, noting that the project is on track for timely completion. The new headquarters is expected to serve as a cornerstone for the ministry’s operations, supporting its mission to manage religious affairs effectively.
