Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Public Works of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Abdisalan Abdi Ali met with the head of the UNDP to Somalia, Lionel Laurens and his deputy, Mrs. Sophie Kemkhadze.
The meeting focused on strengthening the cooperation of work between the UNDP and the Ministry in the promotion and rebuilding of the country’s economic infrastructure, which is currently being greatly assisted by UNDP, and how UNDP could support the Ministry laws of rebuilding the country, training and development of the Ministry’s staff.
Minister Abdisalan, who spoke at the meeting, welcomed UNDP’s support in Somalia and their activities in the country, and thanked them for their special cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works and their meeting today.
