Mogadishu(SONNA)-Minister of Livestock, Forestry and Range of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Hussein Mohamed on Tuesday inaugurated new facilities including veterinary lab and office for documenting and issuing certificates for the livestock to be exported at Mogadishu sea port.
The African Development Bank funded the projects while Save The Children implemented the constructions according to the officials.
“The first integrated livestock market in Mogadishu, #Somalia was inaugurated today by @MoLFR_Somalia with support from @AfDB_Group and @igadsecretariat. This facility will enhance market access, trade, and livelihoods for pastoralist communities across the region”, Save the Children in Somalia said on X.
