Algiers, (SONNA) — The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Yusuf Mohamed Adan, received a warm welcome upon his arrival in the Algerian capital, Algiers, where he will participate in the Arab Social and Economic Development Summit.
At Houari Boumediene International Airport, Minister Yusuf was received by Algeria’s Secretary-General of the Ministry of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs, Mr. Zaher Shaddah, along with Somalia’s Ambassador to Algeria, H.E. Yusuf Ahmed Hassan (Yusuf Jeego).
The summit, set to convene in Algiers, brings together high-level delegations from across the Arab world to discuss strategies and partnerships aimed at advancing social welfare and economic development in the region. Minister Yusuf is expected to represent Somalia’s priorities and explore avenues for cooperation in labour, social affairs, and inclusive development.
