Baghdad, (SONNA) – The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Hassan Maallim Mohamud, delivered a comprehensive speech at the opening of the Council of Justice of the Arab League in Baghdad, Iraq.
Minister Hassan emphasized Somalia’s readiness to engage in collaborative efforts with Arab League member countries in the realms of judiciary and fairness.
The Minister expressed gratitude to the Iraqi government for hosting this crucial meeting underscoring Somalia’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and feels deep concern for their suffering and the displacement suffered by the people of Gaza, giving a clear testament to Somalia’s point on justice and fairness on the international stage.
Minister Hassan Maallim also took the opportunity to highlight the significant strides made by the Somali government and its citizens in the ongoing battle against terrorism, noting the areas liberated from the terrorists have been provided with essential judicial and justice services.
The Minister also expressed heartfelt appreciation to all countries that have extended their unwavering support to both the Somali people and the government in their resolute efforts to bring about peace and stability and the show of solidarity reinforces the global commitment to Somalia’s journey toward justice and development.
