Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon. Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail (Fartaag), joined the Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Hon. Mohamed Ahmed Amiir, in a meeting focused on strengthening the security of the capital and accelerating the ongoing voter registration process.
Minister Fartaag commended the Banadir Regional Administration for its commitment to maintaining security and delivering essential services to the public. He particularly praised their collaboration with security agencies and efforts to encourage public participation in the one-person, one-vote electoral process.
“It is vital that the Somali people are given the opportunity to elect their leaders through their vote,” Minister Fartaag stated. “I commend the Banadir administration for its dedication to this important democratic initiative.”
