Tripoli, (SONNA) – The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Daud Aweis Jama delivered a speech at the Arab League Ministerial meeting in Libya and gave them updates on the latest military developments in Somalia.
The Minister said that the Somali Media are taking their role in the ideological warfare against the terrorists. He added that the propaganda and the fake news are taking a toll on the Arab World which is used by the insurgents to influence the youth.
The Minister urged the Union of the Arab League to take their part in the fight against terrorism in Somalia and assist in any way possible.
The Ministerial meeting comes after Tripoli has been acknowledged as the Information city of the Union of Arab League.
