Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Health and Social Care of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Ali Haji Aden, along with other officials, visited the Somali Military Hospital to check on soldiers injured in the recent fierce battle against Al-Shabaab in the Ceel Cali Axmed area.
During the visit, Dr. Ali personally spoke with each patient, inquiring about their health conditions. He emphasized the government’s unwavering support for the injured soldiers, recognizing their bravery in defending their communities and country against the enemy. He prayed for their swift recovery.
In a statement to the national media, Minister Ali praised the national forces and local fighters for their heroic efforts in the ongoing fight against Al-Shabaab. He also announced plans to provide additional resources to the Somali Military Hospital, including beds, vehicles, and other medical supplies to enhance care for the wounded.
This visit highlights the government’s commitment to supporting its troops and acknowledges the sacrifices made in the battle against terrorism.
